Kiwi nomad’s epic romance ‘LOVE SAVED OUR LIVES’

Pete Breidahl says this is a love story, one his late grandmother would have enjoyed reading in Woman’s Day, where a Kiwi guy in Outer Mongolia meets his soulmate, a young German woman travelling with an Australian cattle dog.

“It’s not just about two people falling in love – it’s about a love of life, a love of the environment and, most importantly, seeing the best in other people,” the former soldier and hunting guide, 42, from Tauranga tells us. “It’s a dream come true for me. My grandma would be very proud. My only regret is she’ll never get to see the woman I’m marrying.”
