HUNGARY

FURMINT

93 Samuel Tinon 2018 Birtok Dry Furmint (Tokaj). This dry Hungarian Furmint is straw colored in the glass with aromas of pineapple, guava and a touch of flint. In the mouth there are flavors of quince, lemon curd, honeysuckle blossom and white peach. It is very well balanced with nice heft on the palate and a bright splash of acidity in the finish. Danch and Granger Selection. Editors’ Choice. —J.J.
