Situated on a beautiful block with views across Sydney Harbour, this interwar bungalow hadn’t been renovated for years. But with their children Zara-Claire and Mia now teenagers, owners Anthea and Ronnie decided it was time to create more space and make the most of their home’s potential.

“Having only one bathroom for the family was becoming increasingly difficult,” says Anthea. “We also wanted a separate parent’s retreat
