This historic building set in the middle of Mansfield dates right back to the 1800s – and has the ghosts to prove it.
In fact, it’s said to be Mansfield’s most haunted building.
The Grade I listed building was built as a windowless slaughterhouse, then became a malt house and later in life, a nightclub.
It’s now an activity centre – but you don’t have to dig very deep into the surface to discover some of the macabre secrets of the building.
