7 ways to… help animals

Non-human animals have a pretty hard time of things, thanks to us humans — whether that’s directly (because people eat them…) or indirectly (because we are causing climate change…). So, let’s endeavour to help animals and other innocent beings out as much as we possibly can! Here are seven different ways to get started.

1. Go vegan and cruelty-free

Since you’re reading this magazine, it’s probably already obvious to you, but going vegan is one of the best ways that you can help non-human animals. By refraining from eating them or using products made from them and their derivatives, you do not contribute towards the exploitation and cruelty that ensues.

Make sure any vegan health, beauty or other products you buy are also cruelty-free, to ensure that they aren’t tested on animals.
