Teething problems overcome
When a completely new range of tractors is launched, as sure as eggs are eggs, some problems will only come to light once the machines are set to work in earnest. This was certainly the case with the Case IH Optum, which debuted back in 2015.
The chunks of hefty iron, such as the tractor's FPT engine and CVX transmission, were less of a problem. However, leaking or vibrating hydraulic pipes, as well as electronic problems and other software errors, have caused a few headaches. A lot of these issues have been addressed with several modifications and, of course, by the new updated model.
