finweek co-founder passes away

Allan Greenblo, one of the founders of Finance Week, one of the two predecessors to finweek, died on 11 October 2021 at the age of 76. He was buried at the Westpark cemetery in Johannesburg the next day.

Greenblo’s influence on financial journalism was immense. The quality of his – is evident in the numerous prizes he won during his career. Sanlam awarded him the illustrious lifetime achievement award for financial journalism.
