MELLOW YELLOW

The rockmelon or cantaloupe is a large round fruit with yellow to orange flesh and a hard, beige-coloured, often intricately netted rind.

Its taste can vary from peach-sweet, ideal for fruit salad, to a slightly bland flavour that those resourceful Italians improve by wrapping it in prosciutto as an antipasto.
