The Elektron Digitakt launched onto the scene in the middle of 2017. With the existence of the Octatrack, lots of people rightly drew comparisons.

Both units offer eight audio engine tracks. Both have eight MIDI tracks. Both tend to be grooveboxes and hardware hubs. But that’s where the comparisons start to diverge. Over the past few years, Digitakt has proven itself an excellent groovebox/sampler and hardware hub.
