YOU WANT YOUR horse to trust you. Make it your mission because when he does, everything is much simpler. He knows he can do whatever you ask of him because he trusts you’ll only ask him to do things you know he can achieve.

To build a trusting relationship, play your part well by showing him you deserve his faith because you’re consistently trustworthy. He needs to see that you always turn up as the same person, not one who wavers between helping and punishing.
