Some folks reading this column who have sent coins to a major third-party grading service (TPGS) for authentication have received a coin back with the dreaded “No Decision” label. How can that be and what does it mean?
When this happens, it does not indicate that their coin is not genuine. The TPGS was not able to reach a conclusion one way or the other. That’s the simple explanation, but it is not that simple.
