ANYFISH ANYWHERE TWO-DAY OPEN

Llandudno, Conwy, 314 anglers

Anglers from Kent filled six of the top 10 places, including the top three, in this popular two-day event in North Wales.

With 157 anglers in each match for an overall prize fund of £15,000, there were two anglers who scored zone wins on both days and the match was decided on fish points.

Robbie Taylor (pictured top) put in a superb performance to not only win his zone on both days to score a perfect two zone points, but finish first in the two matches. Robbie won zone C on day 1 and B on day 2 and recorded 1,428 fish points. Runner-up Tommy Wells also had a pair of zone wins, taking zones D and A respectively, but with 697 fish points, which meant he had to settle for second.

Other zone winners were Nathan Elliott (A) and Dave Falk (B) on day 1 and Brett Cotter (C) and Louie Smith (D) on day 2. Best fish of the event was Mike Flynn’s 73cm bass (above).
