m, this version of the Focus ST is still on sale. It’s not a masterplan. So this ST will be an end-of-an-era car. As a machine to live with, I’ve never run a less annoying companion. Bug-free infotainment (take note, Golf GTI), 350 miles on a tank (you listening, Hyundai i30N?), solid build, great sound and unlike STs of old, the ability – at last – to calm down and saunter along. To mooch. To not slew about in an inferno of torque steer and wheelspin. The MkIV ST was – and is – a truly great Fast Ford, because Fast Fords should be all things to all people.
