Gold ‘n’ delicious

When Mike Pye made a now infamous comment about gold Beetles (in my defence, it was my mum that made it originally! – MP), it’s safe to say Jack Gardner, born in 1994, wasn’t a VolksWorld reader.

Thankfully, though, the Volkswagen world is constantly evolving and we’re lucky that so much new blood is coming into the scene, rather than it stagnating and going all a bit pipe and slippers. I mean, let’s face it, all of us were the youngsters once – and if you’re one now, trust me when I say there will come a time when you’re not any more. That’s a fact of life.
