A long overdue apology
The excellent article ‘From Mud to Glory’ in the October issue of CB reminded me of another houseboat from the golden era that was rebuilt, Camper & Nicholson’s 1904 . She lay in a mud berth in Tollesbury until the millennium, but then a row’s disappearance with the rebuild of (pictured), predicting the same fate. However, the beautiful has continued to grace the East Coast for the last 15 years, so I apologise to my old friend Adrian Wombwell and also Richard Matthews for the unintended slight.
