MMM - The Motorhomers' Magazine

My project

On my last MoT, the examiner said that, although the headlamps passed, the plastic was ageing and not as clear as it should be (it is a 2007 model). He suggested I get them polished to prevent further dulling, which will result in a test failure.

I found kits online for £20 each and, based on the reviews and feedback, I bought a kit. I am sceptical of reviews, so I don’t go for the best. The one I bought had the least worst reviews.

I bought two kits as other sellers said two kits may be required for larger lights. They come with small graduated sanding discs, polishing mop, sachet of polish and a sachet of a clear liquid to protect the lens.
