    LAST winter I was on my way to the ferry terminal at Cairnryan, with a trailer load of new Land Rover chassis that I had collected from Richards Chassis Ltd, when the DVSA pulled me in to their inspection station to check over my load and towing equipment – and to see what I was doing.
