MANY London Land Rover drivers are about to enter a new era of taxation – the expansion of the Ultra-Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ). The current ULEZ (a round-the-clock levy of £12.50) had been limited to the Congestion Charge zone, a compact area of central London comparatively easy to avoid driving into unless for business purposes, has pushed the cost of driving into central London during the day to an eye-watering £27.50. Once inside the zone, of course, you also still face extortionate parking charges.
