Review: Shure MV7

With the SM7B, Shure has one of the most popular microphones in the podcast and YouTube sector in its portfolio, with which professional-sounding recordings of voices can be made even in a less than ideal acoustic environment. The new Shure MV7 aims to build on this success and make it even more user-friendly: A USB connection eliminates the need for an additional audio interface with preamp and the associated cabling. However, a classic analog connection via microphone cable is also possible, so you should be equipped with the microphone for all circumstances.
