1 Ring modulation

The design of the Tyrell was inspired by Roland‘s Juno 60, but its tonal possibilities go far beyond those of the hardware model. For classic ring modulator sounds, set all mixer faders all the way down and only ring all the way up. Then adjust the oscillator waveforms and the tune control of Oscillator 2 to your liking.

2 Typical synth-pop basses

Select the pulse wave for oscillator 1 and the sawtooth for oscillator 2. Tune oscillator 2 an octave higher and turn up by a few cents. A slight pulse width modulation creates a more lively sound. Close the filter almost completely
