Meeting the challenges of COASTAL EROSION

SCAPE (Scottish Coastal Archaeology and the Problem of Erosion) works with the public to research, investigate, interpret and promote the archaeology of Scotland’s coast. Through its work with volunteers across Scotland, and with the University of St Andrews and Historic Environment Scotland (HES), the Scape Trust explores where and how Scotland’s heritage is being affected by natural coastal processes and how climate change may affect this in the future.
