Currently rifles have been transitioning from classical to tactical, switching from classic-style timber stocks to synthetic and laminate, then to machined aluminium chassis rifles with skeletonised stocks. Long range fanaticism sees the introduction of many bull-barreled, heavy-stocked target bolt rifles which are seeing use on game at extreme ranges. Hunters who stalk, however, still have a wide choice of conventional rifles ranging from affordable to outrageously priced.
