1 Kaliningrad, RUSSIA
Bordering Lithuania, Poland, and the Baltic Sea, the Kaliningrad province is spread over 15,000 square kilometres and shares no borders with mainland Russia. Kaliningrad’s capital of the same name was founded in the 13th century and was called Königsberg until it became a part of the Soviet Union after WWII.
