Editor’s Letter

few years ago, oh, who am I kidding, it was more than 20 years back, a different lifetime… There was a guy on a deserted beach in Fiji. So far so good right. My memory is a little sketchy, but I believe the headline on the story was something like, “Meet the hunks of ”. That’s right, , as in the television show, and yes, it was just in those days – the contestants were just your regular Joes, the celebrity part didn’t come until later. The guy on the beach that day didn’t win the show, but he did go on to be a celebrity. That guy was Clarke Gayford. And that guy could never have imagined the life he has today.
