An Instant Gift

In Kansas City, Mo., at the turn of the 20th century, Francesco and Antonia Vigliaturo arrived in the United States and later had a total of 12 children. Immigrants from Calabria, Italy, they brought something so special to this country and shared it with their offspring. It was the love of family and memories.

Many emotional, I recognize the intentional way our family captured images on every occasion. We have weddings, baptisms, birthdays, Christmases, picnics and just any get-togethers, all at our fingertips. The people in the photos weren’t always clear because someone could not sit still, but that actually makes this reflection experience much more meaningful.
