“To be honest, I wasn’t originally looking to buy a Rolls-Royce,” smiles Ravin Naik, as he opens his garage door to reveal the 1976 Silver Shadow lurking inside. “Ever since I’d got into cars as a youngster, I’d wanted a Jaguar XJ12 Coupé – the two-door version of the Series II XJ. I finally started looking for one nearly three years ago but kept getting out-bid at auctions, which was very frustrating.
