BACHMANN LNER V2 2-6-2

There has been a V2 in the Bachmann range for nearly 30 years now, originally with a split chassis arrangement. Some years ago, an updated chassis arrived, but the body of the locomotive was untouched. Now, we have a completely retooled locomotive, to the latest standards.

Gresley’s V2 first appeared in 1936, and the prototype is preserved in the National Collection. 184 locomotives were produced and could be seen anywhere on the ECML from London to Aberdeen. Off the main line though, they were severely restricted by their RA9
