aolo is standing proudly in the doorway of Da Bucatino. Inside, waiters chat and polish glasses. Outside, a couple more smooth cloths and lay the tables that run to the corner of the street. For 16 years, I’ve shared an internal courtyard with this traditional, family-run trattoria, its boisterous kitchen clatter and scents escaping through the extractor vents and travelling.
