A tale of two countries: land reform in SA and Ukraine
The International Bar Association, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Bar Association, hosted the world’s first international conference on agricultural law in late September.
The discussions were rich and relevant, focusing on land reform, climate change, the EU’s Green Deal and biotech. South Africa’s Dr Lukeshni Chetty, general manager of the South African National Seed Organization, delivered an insightful and thought-provoking presentation on the evolution of genetically modified organisms.
