For most of us, motorcycling isn’t about cheap transport — but it can be, just like when grandpa was riding around on a BSA Bantam. Just like those little British 125s, the new Meteor is built by a company also known for guns — Royal Enfield. However, the Meteor is a modern retro 350cc motorcycle with fuel injection, a smooth engine and ABS, making it a far cry from the cheap British bike that gave thousands of people their first taste of motorcycling.
Made in India for a world market, the Meteor is half the price of some naked LAMS bikes, with the cheapest of the three models coming in at just $6690. That’s the price of the model we rode, the Fireball, available in Fireball yellow
