Prime mover

When Clarke Gayford has appeared on tele vision of late, he has usually been carrying one of two things: a big fish or a small child.

His new show involves no spearguns or rods like his series. And it has had the stay-at-home dad of Premier House working the nightshift all over New Zealand. He’s, a new series that follows DIY projects involving transporting homes cross-country before renovations can begin. It’s a heavy-haulage , sort of, with Gayford on Kevin McCloud-ish before-and-after duties as well as going along for the ride as the houses are jacked up, cut up, driven away and given a new lease of life elsewhere.
