Don’t expect new bonuses with these Ultra HD highlights: just the film in 4K, vintage extras and maybe physical goodies.
, (out now), Kubrick’s take (out now) is available as regular and collector’s editions. The latter has a soundtrack CD, a Blu-ray of the 2011 remake, a poster of the new cover art and five art cards. We said: “This tale of -style paranoia at an Antarctic outpost grips like a vice. The stars of the show are Rob Bottin’s effects… their perverse blossomings of flesh take your breath away.” For our money, M Night Shyamalan peaked with 2000’s (11 October). The tale of ordinary joe David Dunn (Bruce Willis) who discovers he’s invulnerable after walking away from a deadly train crash, it’s an understated, suspenseful and moving riff on superhero origin stories. Finally, (out now) includes (1931), (1931), (1933) and (1941). The big extra here: the Spanish language , shot on the same sets after the Lugosi film wrapped each day, and considered superior to it by many.
