Born in Liberia, raised in Canada, Momolu now thrives in Little Rock. While Arkansas might seem an unlikely place for a fashion-forward designer to raise her family, location has not hindered her vison or success. She earned a place on the impressive “Top 5 Designers to Watch” list after her first appearance at NewYork City’s Fashion Week in 2009 and has since collaborated with Women Grow on a show featuring a hemp-based fashion line where models puffed vape pens on the runway.
