Security Suite GROUP TEST
Since the turn of the Millennium, it’s been a truism that if there’s one type of software that you really needed to pay for, it was anti-malware. That all changed in recent years with top security suites offering free versions of their premium products which essentially provided the same top-tier, core protection gratis. In our previous group test we ended up recommending Bitdefender’s free version, but what was arguably more notable was that Windows Defender, Microsoft’s built-in antimalware protection, performed just as capably – better in some instances – as all third-party products.
