Most vegetables see sharp price declines as volumes improve

The price of cabbages in mid-September was almost 20% lower month-on-month (m/m) in response to an increase of about 10% in volume (see Graph 1).

Supply was also supported by an 8,5% year-on-year (y/y) increase in volume, which resulted in the price being more than 41% lower y/y (see Graph 2).

At the
