Looking for Bargains Among the Last of the Half Cents

In looking at different coin series, and poking into mintages and designs to see what sort of bargains might be available, we have thus far ignored anything in the various series of half-cent pieces. There is a lot here in terms of history, designs and Mint output; and we’ll admit the series can be difficult as a whole. But let’s take a gander at just one small segment of the larger whole and see if some good prices might be tucked away where few collectors normally bother to look.
