THE feature on Morris states that The Firm produced his wallpaper designs. In the 1860s, Morris experimented with printing using zinc plates, but found it unsatisfactory and approached my great-grandfather Metford Warner, of wallpaper manufacturer Jeffrey and Co in Islington.
