DRIFFIELD STEAM FAIR 2021 – UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

A combination of high levels of Covid 19 cases and Storm Evert passing through the area failed to deter exhibitors and the public from attending the Driffield Steam Fair, now under new management and held for the first time in two years, over the weekend of 31 July-1 August at the Showground in Driffield, East Yorkshire, reports Mal Jordan.

The event had been planned for August 2020 but cancelled due to Covid. It is now under Custom Shows’ management due to the East Riding Engine Club not being in a position to continue after their final 30th event brought proceedings to an end in August 2019 (see OG No 359).
