The Gold SR

Some specials are obviously special, covered in shiny modifications and instantly recognisable as such. And some specials are the kind you stroll past and then induce a double-take, as you realise something isn’t quite right... but definitely isn’t wrong.

This is a BSA Gold Star replica with a difference. Owner Mike bought it like this. Mike likes his singles, whether they are old Brit like a ZB Gold Star, modernish Japanese like a stock SR500 and a DR400 Suzuki, or just plain obscure, like his Beta 4.0 Alp or Spanish Ducati 350.

The Gold SR is no pussy cat. “It’s a beast,” says Mike. “A beast on the road and a beast to start.”
