It was a risky choice. I knew I was tempting fate, opting for the only restaurant with a prime view in a popular tourist spot. But I had to roll the dice. Thankfully, my scepticism was unfounded. When it comes to food, I do so love to be proven wrong.

In front of me was a perfectly grilled sea bass and an unforgettable side salad: fresh crisp greens and plump juicy capers, which grow wild all over the island. I happily devoured the hand-cut fries and sipped my lemon-infused mineral water. It had all far exceeded my expectations.
