Kia ora!

With Auckland now in Alert level 3, the team has finally been able to sample someco-stars Chris Parker and Brynley Stent (page 18), both of whom I’ve been a huge fan of since seeing them in the hilarious 2016 play . It’s a real joy to share their beautiful friendship, which they say makes them feel more like family – something so many of us can certainly relate to. There’s nothing better than a mate who’ll have your back no matter what, right? Also, on page 30, Olympic silver medallist Hannah Osborne talks to us about her struggle with depression – just in time for Mental Health Awareness Week, which is this year encouraging us to “take time to ko- rero”. It’s a great reminder to check in on those friends who may be struggling. Enjoy the mag and have a lovely week.
