Some plants that can be propagated by hardwood cuttings
▪ Buddleja
▪ Cornus
▪ Deutzia
▪ Forsythia
▪ Platanus (London plane)
▪ Populus (poplar)
▪ Vitis (grape vine)
▪ Weigela
▪ Ribes (flowering and fruiting currants)
▪ Rosa (especially ramblers and species)
▪ Salix (willow)
▪ Symphoricarpos (snowberry)
HARDWOOD cuttings are probably the easiest cuttings to take when you want to produce new plants. All you need is material from a suitable subject and a deep pot of compost or part of the garden
