PORCELAIN TEA LIGHTS

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

To make the tea lights exactly as shown, you will need the MKM skull roller used here. You can purchase the roller directly from MKM at mkmpotterytools.com or try your pottery supplier; many will stock them.

Be aware that you will be working with really thin sections of porcelain in this project. This is important to allow the light to glow through the clay when the forms are lit, but it is far more difficult to handle and may take some practice to get used to.

IT IS ESSENTIAL that your working space is spotless when working with porcelain because it is easily contaminated by even the tiniest specks of other clays.

Make sure all tools and work surfaces have been wiped down thoroughly before you begin – even the plastic sheet you might use!

Finally, we are showing how to make the tea lights in two
