B’S MISSING SPARKLE

Q I have recently serviced my 1977 timing light and adjusted the carbs’ mixture but now, in simple terms, it wouldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding. It was better before and, whilst it still runs smoothly, it has so much less go now. What could be wrong?
