As plug-ins and in the form of desktop or rack devices, compressors are almost a dime a dozen. In modular systems, the selection is rather limited - especially in terms of multiband compressors. Manufacturer Endorphin.es ventures into new territory in two respects because, on the one hand, as far as we know, there are no modules in this category yet; and on the other hand, it is the first mixing and dynamics effect from the Spanish workshop.

The Golden Master‘s features are clear: two inputs (with channel 1 normalized to channel 2), two outputs and a CV input for modulating the output volume. The compressor offers three operating modes that are active in parallel: Volume, compression and stereo widening.
