HOW TO CROCHET ICE BLOCKS AND A BEACH BOX

Abbreviations

Ch = chain; beg = begin/beginning; bl = back loop; dc = double crochet; fl = front loop; htr = half treble crochet; sp/s = space/s; ss = slip stitch; st/s = stitch/stitches; tog = together; tr = treble; yrh = yarn round hook

Approx. 13cm tall

Gather your supplies

1 ball each of 4ply cotton yarn 50g: aqua, lilac, peach, pale beige and blossom pink; 3.25mm crochet hook; 4 safety eyes, 4mm in size; fibrefill; stitch markers

NOTE The Ice Blocks are worked from the top down in the amigurumi method, working in a continuous spiral unless otherwise stated. Place a marker in the first st of each round, moving it up as you work.

Ice Block with Sprinkles Body

Using a 3.25mm hook and aqua, ch2.

Round 1 6dc into last ch from hook. [6sts]

Round 2 2dc into each st around. [12sts]

Round 3 (Dc, 2dc) 6 times. [18sts]

(Dc in next 5sts, 2dc in next st) 3 times. [21sts]
