USS KITKUN BAY
illiam Friend wrote to us saying that he’d like to let us know that he greatly one of which is related to this article. The first is USS one of the six Taffy 3 CVEs that he finished recently. He’s currently working on all the ships of Taffy 3. The model is 1/2400th scale, by CHQ; the ship itself is three separate pieces: the hull, flight deck, and island. Each aircraft is separate. The flight deck markings are actually a superb decal from Flight Deck Decals. The second ship is also recently finished, also CHQ 1/2400th scale: HMS a type II Hunt-class escort destroyer. Will uses his collection of ships not only gaming Micronauts, but also for presenting historical displays and discussions at a local museum. His ships look beautiful and I wish had had some of his photos for the article. Thanks, Will!
