A BIG BOX OF DOUGHNUTS

Sometimes you go on well planned trips that just don’t go to plan. It’s hard to plan any fishing trip at the moment in Eastern Australia. 14 days in hotel isolation isn’t my idea of a holiday! On a recent trip we planned to go to Copeton Dam chasing Murray cod. Over the years I’ve caught a lot of cod in this dam, but at the last stages of our planning Covid outbreaks in Sydney looked like closing the NSW-Qld border so we took the safer option to head out to Glen Lyon Dam located west of Stanthorpe and inside the Queensland border.
