Film vs digital

here seems to be a lot of talk recently about the aesthetic differences between shooting film versus digital. Maybe it’s the medium and I need to see them as seriously sized prints but the examples I’ve seen in magazines and online really don’t look any different to me. Could you possibly put an article together with real-life examples highlighting the noticeable differences, with perhaps some input from photographers who prefer one medium over the other, and why? With so many very reasonably priced used film cameras available I think it would make for an interesting topic and might even encourage
