Like all ultra-short-throw projectors, the Epson can stand directly in front of the screen and still manage to project a huge image. With just over 50 centimeters between the mirror optics to the screen, you get a 90-inch image. With every inch of distance, you can further enlarge the image. However, unlike other projectors, including other ultrashort distance projectors, the Epson cannot be mounted under the ceiling. This reduces the installation flexibility but makes sense for the integrated soundbar; after all, you don’t want to be exposed to sound predominantly from above.
